Hey, Im looking at buying this 89 240sx S13 HB. The headgasket is blown but the transmission and clutch are in good condition. How much should I offer for the car, and how hard is it to fix the Head Gasket. If anyone is familiar with repairing the Gasket on a 240sx S13, please let me know. Thanks.

hey man i do alot of car buying and selling and what you have here is something typical of some kid not treating his sh*t right. If i were you i would look around for other options, try craigslist.com, always find good **** there as a matter of fact i picked up a minty fresh 96 240sx last night for 2gs. I think its a steal please correct me if im wrong. But as far as that gasket goes be careful because who ever owns it obviously does stupid sh*t to the car and beats the hell out of it. A head gasket isnt the easiest thing to do but if you a decent amount of mechanical skill you can get it done. A good tip is take your time, try not to rush cause thats how you f stuff up. and another good tip that i learned the hard way is if it aint broken dont fix it. You wont believe the thousands of dollars ive fu#9ed my self over with cause of me trying to make it better. Do some research before you go ahead and rip stuff apart. Pick up a haynes car manual, shows you the ins and outs of any car. the head gasket can go from 30 to 70 bucks at your local parts house.
