more specifically, you may have loosened the connection to the hazard light switch. If the hazard switch is unplugged on Nissans, the turn signals won't work either. edit: oh god. . your hazards work. . ugh. . haha Sorry I missed that. . still early to me. In that case. . .
loose connection, lol

Welcome to NICO btw -- I haven't heard of this problem before, so hopefully someone will come along. had to check your location -- I figured if you were from Illinois, missing your turn signals wouldn't matter anyway.

Just a guess, but maybe the turn signal relay got knocked loose. Not sure exactly how the Pathy is set up, but on most cars, there are two relays, one for the turn signals and one for the hazard lights. That's probably why one works and the other doesn't. Let us know.

Thanks for the responses, you guys are awesome. When I get home from work, I'll check to see if there are any loose wires (I would just check around the hazzard connection right?). Also, how would I check to see if the turn signal relay got knocked loose? Or is that the same thing? Sorry I'm not car savvy...

Actually I'm unfamiliar with the turn signal relay. If your hazards DO work but signals don't, my guess is probably incorrect. Maybe to be sure though, just make sure the plug is in correctly in the back of the hazard switch...

Haha, yeah......there are a few people in the Seattle area that do not use their turn signals. But the majority do. And unfortunately, the Cops are quick to pull you over if you don't use em.

Yeah theres a relay under the dash (steering wheel side) for the signals.... Also, dumb question, but have you checked the fuse? Under the hood, and behind your coin tray?

i have an 01 Infiniti QX4 with the same problem. I replaced the cd player and now the signals dont work. I took it to a repair place and they said they couldnt find out what was wrong. They said one wire was getting current but not the other and they couldnt figure out why. They assume its a wiring issue and told me to take it to a dealer.Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to sell the car and cant do so if the turn signals dont work. Thank you. Michael

the problem is that the gold prong on the male plug coming from the caution button itself on the dash is bent down. Just bend it back up and plug the female end back in and the blinkers will work fine. I just had to fix this a min ago on a 97 pathfinder. Good Luck:Also try this before you go to the dealership before they rape you for a lot of cash!!!!!!! This took me 2 mins to do if that.
