Recommended HID conversion kits and projectors

Howdie group,

I didn't see anything abou this posted in the noob area, so I thought I'd ask. Does anyone recommend a particular brand of HID ready retrofit projectors for our headlights? And while you're at it, how about a hid company. I've done my research, and right now, I'm thinking of going with these nbo guys for their lifetime warranty or just going cheapo with ebay hid kits. projectors, same dilemna -- there are places like hidplanet and then there's ebay.

Only go with the phillips bulbs. If you do some research, you'll find that the 85122+ bulbs are the best bang for the buck in the market. If you want to do an hid conversion do it right and use a projector. If I were to recommend one I would say a TL projector. I just got a pair in and they're nice. I don't know if they will fit in a 240 but I plan on putting them in this weekend.

As for ballasts, go with an oem one if like hella or phillips if you can afford them. If you can't then just get some cheap one's temporarily. They say the cheap one's go out after 2-3 years though. That nbo stuff looks cheap to me, but you can buy there stuff and let us know if its good.

There's a few people that have done retrofits on their 240's lurking around and they can give you some tips.

If you don't get the phillips bulbs you'll regret it later.

I appreciate the feedback bro. I wasn't sure about the neverburnout hid conversion but turns out they've gotten some good industry press/endorsements. that said, phillips ballasts are solid -- no question about that. their replacement bulbs are also the truth. i might just end up going NBO and then figuring out the rest as i go along.
