I bought a pair of rear valences from bings.ca and I got some crap. I bodyshop told me that with all the work he would have to do he would be better off making custom valences. He said that he would have to cut and fiberglass the hell out those things to get them to fit right. Damn. So now I'm left with some rears that really don't fit WTF ? If any of you have some options on rea valences please ket me know Because I just spent 178.00 on some frp I can't use.P..S. I'll let you guys know how it is getting my cash back or getting some Valences that fit with out having to go all west coast customs on my s13.

P.S. I not flaming I just pointing something out that should spread to all My Nissan Brothers in the struggle, Please forgive me for I am A coupe owner and Just feel deep when it comes down to my baby girl.

Is not so bad, you can still save those valences like I told you before. Your body shop probably don't feel like working on them. I wish I taken some pictures when I "modified" mine....now they fit better than OEM.

You can do it yourself if you are crafty. I will try to give you the steps on email, I can't post nothing while at work.

It's not just bing valences. I've seen jdm aftermarket FRP valences and they were the same way. You have to cut, trim and sand hell out of them to make them fit right. Buy OEM ones.

Go OEM.As much as people bag on eBay, I won a complete set of hatch valences shipped for $185. Very good condition, more importantly, no cracks. They should be in this week.If urethane is available, avoid fiberglass. You may pay a little more up front, but fitment is pretty much gauranteed.

Hatch valences are not that hard to find, but coupe valences in good condition is extremely hard to find. What you have to check it corner. Most of them corners near tires got chipped due to age and beating by rocks and stuff.

You have a hatch. Right? Just get OEM ones on eBay. You won't regret. IIRC once you said you don't like the design of OEM aero for hatch, but you can't beat OEM fitment.

you can make them fit.My quarter skirts weren't perfect fit but they fit a little better on the body line than yours. You got a hatch kit and they all say modifications are needed to install on coupes. The thing i hate is the big body line at the front fender that wraps all the way around. It doesn't look right there with a body kit.Go to another shop and get a second opinion.

The Valences are made for the coupe in the picture I posted. Yep that's right, if you thought those were for the hatch, then you see my problems right? go to bings.ca and check out whats posted and then see what I got in the mail.

go to another shop and see what they say. Most body shops dont like quarter skirts or body kits because of the likelihood of cracks and whatnot, makes their work seem shotty. If you can go to a custom body shop that will be more willing to modify what needs done for a better fit.And shave that lower body line.Looks horrid with a kit.

Bing is a common seller on the Southern Ontario 240sx Club, but there are more then a few parts that he sells that are awful quality.

Use your best judgement when buying from him because honestly you'd be better of paying the extra money for something better. For saftey and fitment reasons.

Much like the ebay stuff, his parts are knockoffs of other designs, but made cheaper.

FUNGC, that picture of Pavel's car has the original urethane valences that Bing copied, in fact those exact ones.

Those are the originals, not the knock offs.

I stand corrected.

Bing apparently will offer a refund on fiberglass parts that do not fit. However he denies that you have contacted him.

I suggest you email him directly and save your emails.

I've also made the mistake of buying Bing's 'products'.

His crappy made in China exhausts ruined my custom turbo manifold..

After 1000km (600 miles) of driving the hangers tore off the exhaust putting all that stress on my stainless manifold and it cracked. It's amazing it held together at all really.

Btw that's MY exhaust he has pictures of on his website.. Obviously before it fell apart like the piece of garbage that it is.

Gee that looks like it held..

Oh here is a hanger with no exhaust attached to it!

Oh look two holes in the muffler itself..

Buyer Beware.

He wouldn't refund my money, only offered to 'fix' it but when it's cheap chinese steel it would just fall apart again anyway.. The METAL of the exhaust tore away.

After I raised a stink on the boards and MANY other people who had problems and thought it was 'only them' started bitching he offered to replace all the ruined ones of local members.. For us it's a 30 minute drive to his parent's Chinese Food Restaurant if you don't live in the GTA then good luck.

Guys, you get what you pay for. If it's bottom dollar you get bottom products.I'm scared knowing there are people out there driving around with his suspension components on their cars.

Yeah Nocwage I remembered your exhaust problem in particular.

I can attest to the manifold construction, it was well built but the same gentlemen who built my stainless side exit exhaust. An engineer actually.

And Nocwage I'm glad someone else feels the same way as I do about the suspension parts he sells.

Bob and max, you're both pathetic.

It isn't enough bob that you an ian constantly try to slander him on Son, but doing it abroad now? thats a new low even for you.

And max, give me a break, yeah you drove it for 1000km, but you owned it for over a year. Do that to any business, you're out of warentee period and he was still willing to have it fixed. You turned it down, thats not his problem.

Now onto quality, he doesnt make that exhaust, nor the manifolds, he just sells them and as many people know they're the same as the megan etc crap.

Why not go bag on varun for selling megan 4-link, when i've seen them show up missing weld?

His supension arms are more than adequet, Ian if he is actually an engineer can do the calculations on the Shear stress required to break them.

Now i'm not a huge supporter of his, especilly since whats happened recently with andrew, but i'll still defend him against you, max, and ian's rediculous accusations.

Grow up.

Ian isn't on this forum, Max has had a legitmate problem pertaining to the quality of Bings part.

And I've been saying the same thing for years.
