I was once upon a time....it was awesome seeing them comeback from behind and beat the Yanks...but I've gotta be loyal to the National League because I enjoy seeing pitchers hit homeruns.Astros/Cubs 4L.

When I lived in Boston, I was a Red Sox fan of sorts.  I was there in 1975 ... could not afford to go to the games though. We heard the roars from Fenway Park during the 1975 World Series, across the Charles, at my fraternity though - while watching on TV!  I moved away from New England in 1988 though and have not kept up with them ...  Z

Well I've lived in NH my whole life, never was really into sports of any kind until a few years ago, but I recently converted into a sports fan, check up on the sox as often as I check my fantast league. (Now at 11-7... ugh, won the first 6 games too!) Too bad Z, they are great franchise to follow! Meh National League does nothing for me, although there are a few Cubs players I like to watch.

THIS IS RED SOX NATION!Anyway, Eric Gagne was a great pick up. Dice-K should be a good pick up for mainly the playoffs hopefully he will really shine. I think that the sox have another great change to win it all seeing as the have the best pitching staff in all of baseball.

Yeah, we'll see how he turns out. So far Dice-k has been a decent fantasy player for me, and yeah, tied for first in my league right now!  I think we'll make it to the playoffs and do alright, not looking for a win cause there are a lot of good teams this year, but as long as we don't pull the typical sox running out of steam trick, should be some postseason fun!

Yeah I basically know we are going to make it into the postseason, but what about the 3 teams that are battleing for the wildcard spot. They are 2 really good teams and then the yankees (who suck and are being carried by A-ROD). I just can't wait to see how that shapes up because I am also a Tigers fan. Should be a fun couple of weeks till the postseason.

Oh for sure, I'll certainly be watching closely, and yes the Yanks hardly have any talent this year, just A-rod consistently, their pitching is horrendous.

Ya i found out some great things this morning 1. Tigers moved into 1st place in their division.
2. The Indians are in the lead in the wildcard race. Also found out some bad things. 1. Yankees are only 4 games back of the sox now.
2. Eric Gagne seems to be choking as of late, hopefully things will work out better, after a few more appearances.

in the beginning of the season, yes, we were being carried by A-Rod. but since the all star break, hes been batting like .255 and EVERYONE else is above .300 . Robby Cano is somewhere near .500 since the break. but all in all yanks > sox

dude, we made the sox our bitches for like 89 years. they had to win eventually. if youre talking about the 04 ALCS, then yes, the sox were better than the us. one time tho. come talk to me when your red sox win 30 titles
