Post

Hey guys. Well i have had my 240sx since december. First car, and its a pretty awesome car. When i got the car, I was really pleased. everything worked just fine on the car. I guess when cars get old and ur having fun in them they tend to break down or have things that are wrong.

Now to present day. My trunk lock has came out so i no longer have a trunk lock and have to get in with putting my fingers threw the little whole. But the front bumper which is black now is really good, and not as crapped out on the paint job. Also my car now sqeaks, Don't know what that is about? But hopefully i can fix it. My back convertable top left window won't go up all the way when i have my convertable top up. So i have to put my convertable black top up half way and hold the window up the whole way. Its hard to explain.

Oh did i mention my car door panals were comming loose? Like they will not be just on the car. The speaker area is really loose and yeah. Hopefully when i get enough money i can fix all of what is wrong with my car.

I should be switching to a better job when i turn 18 which will get me more money to fix up my awesome car. Its an automatic which i love but im seriously thinking about getting a second car once i get more money so i can work on this one more and switch it to a manual like many other people on the forum are. Also want to give it a green paint job. This is the color i want to give it.

Any comments on it? I thought the 240sx would look cool in this color green.

Hopefully i will get the good job and be showing off my car and updating this post more and more once i put more performance/exterior/and interior mods in my car.

Oh yeah the user name is cool. I don't drift my car. I just love the name. lol

Nice looking 'vert!

I dig that green paint.. especially with some black highlights. I think that would look pretty cool with a black 'vert top.. maybe a xenon front lip, etc...

Welcome to the group. Thanks for sharing pics with us.

Let us know if there is anything we can do to help.

You're not fooling us.

The green is cool, especially with those wheels (Advan Oni?). The floor mat cracked me up, too.

Here is what my old bumper looked like:

Now a few weeks ago just installed a 1990 240sx bumper, it is looking really nice.

I am dropping my car off tommorow to have it painted jade green metallic. The guy is also going to get my sagging doors to the right position so they don't look weird. He is also going to secure my door panels, try to get me a new matching carpet for my new paintjob, also try to get me a new convertable top since mine is wearing out. Also is taking away all the door dings and dents and getting me a back lock which fell out while my friend took me in a dirt road

I will take more pics and update soon! Also my new tail-lights will come over this week or more possibly next week.

That's a 91-94 front bumper. '90 is a pignose.

ACS/Dorsett makes molded carpets for the vert in tons of colors.

Looking forward to seeing the new paint!

The car is from my area, and i miss seeing it dearly. anyways, the wheels are actually advan SA3's. I personally think the color/flake is loud enough where its almost necessary to run an aero kit. But then again, I'm a whore for fiberglass so....

Looks like it has the little bolts around the perimeter like some other Advans. Never seen that on SA3s before, interesting.

The car looks great Matt, she'll definitely be a stunner with black leather just watch out, it gets HOT! Some tints should take care of that though

Well, it looks well done, but I don't really like that particular color. Definitely stands out among verts anyways.

That is a nice color. Definitely unique. Blue, silver and green are good choice. Other colors are too wild for me...

Alright guys! I know I have not posted in awhile! For updating my car at least. But I am going to give you the skoop on what I have been up to in the past couple of months. I contacted this guy who would do leather uphoulstry and a convertible top. I spent around $2300 for the whole thing to be done. It turned out really great!

Here are the updated pictures! Click on the picture to enlarge it.

Basically this is the back seat! Yes its all black leather and sexy!

This is some of my black new carpet! You can see some of it on the right side of the picture.

Sorry forgot there was one more picture of carpet. Man is that ever so sexy.

Look into my clear window and you will see....MY neighboors house!!!

New way to store a seatbelt. It is still safe.

Well guys that was my recent update. Not to much left on my car except for the Radio and the new rims. Then I am done after that. This car is really awesome and I plan on keeping it forever!

Make sure you invest in a plastic polish to keep that window nice and clear.

Basically now I have to get the door panal off and have the seat belt on right. The dude connected the seat belt wrong so instead of having it go over my shoulder. I just put it across me like the seatbelts that are located in the back seat but they are in the middle. I just put it across my stomach and not my shoulder.

But I have to get that fixed now. I know this dude who will do it for free. Hopefully.

your stomach can't handle that if you get in a wreck. You'll also smash your face on the steering wheel.
