The JGS Kit's are great starter kits, but you still need to add a few components to them.

Like,

Something to tune withInter CoolerInter cooler pipingInjectors

And a few other things.

Just avoid the turbonetics turbo that they sell and go with a Garrett or Borg Warner. Turbonetics is made in asia(china i think..) junk.

If you guys have noticed, they dont even advertise their full kit with turbo anymore. Its just the hardware. They say somewhere in the fine print that they can get turbonetics turbos and a t3/t4 50 trim is what they recommend.

I love my JGS products, except the fact that paint was gone after a couple runs. Get it treated so it won't do that and it's nice

I have the Turbonetics turbo, without any problems, but I'd agree that for the same money you can get higher quality turbos from other places.

get a tune, something like Enthalpy, JWT, efi, etc....

Dont cheap out on the tune! JGS is good enough and not too expensive.

Very nice. Why don't you make a build thread so you can post all your progress and any questions or issues you encounter?

RIP 480sx

Anyway, with the JGS kit, you can get a variety of different flanges, and if they don't sell one, you can either get one made locally, or make one yourself. That is what is so nice about the JGS kit, is that it is so flexible and modular.

so you could buy the JGS turbo kit without the turbo and all youd have to get with it is

turbointercooler with pipingfuel pumpinjectorsapexi safc or something like it

is that correct?

lol, i dunno bout that 1 ... theres a lot of stuff your gonna need, and a good start for you is gonna be more information. Just look at some of the build threads on here, a good number of them will have parts lists. Mine does, and I used this kit. I added a lot more than just that..

I mean now that I think about it, you probably could just swap the above mentioned parts. I wouldn't go KA-t like that and expect to make good numbers with a reliable driver, that's all.

And no, I'm using a ka24de with a JGS kit...
