Call my crazy, but I can't stand the Michilen Pilot Sports

The tires were nearly new when I got the car and I have never been able to take corners like this car should be able too. My Maxima can handle corners better.

Now they're down to 6/32s in the rear and basically worthless... The back end kicks out with no warning taking a corner moderately quick.

I've ran Yokohama ES100s on my last 3 cars and loved them every time. They've always been excellent off the line, in corners, wet and all summer when we're in the 100s for most of the summer.

Has anyone else ran the ES100s on their G? I hadn't see the stock G sizes until recently.

Is there a slightly wider setup that will give me a bigger contact patch on the stock 18" wheels without pissing off the VDC?

I've put together some wider options in the past, but forget what they are atm... I believe I was looking at 275/40R18 in the rear and 245/40R18 up front, but I don't recall exactly. Some said its great, others said its pointless and/or too wide for the stock wheels. Comments?
