My new summer project

Well, I have a spare Xbox that's just sitting in my room, and, after reading the most recent Popular Science, and wanting to do something with it, I decided I wanted to put linux on it and use it as a media center for my car, GPS system, etc.

I'm thinking about taking it out of the case, and filling up my glove box with it. Has anyone mounted anything in their glove box in a similar fashion? (car audio stuff, etc).Also, does anyone know of some good car management software?
