So im in the process of swaping my ka'd vert to an sr. We hit a road block with the power steering. My ka power steering pump only had two lines coming off of it, while the sr ps pump has two on the top, and one on the bottom which we believe goes to a resivour.

Similar to this setup is eikons rb ps pump, which has two lines possibly coming out the top, yet the back line has a bolt screwed into it blocking it while the front has a line most likely going to the power steering rack. Is this how my sr ps pump should go? and why does my sr ps pump have the additional line in the first place, is it for the hicas system?

Any answers or input would be greatly appreciated!

(p.s. i searched, nothing came up)

My sr power steering pump only has 2 lines....Looks just like the ka's did..You might have a HICAS pump or something...You can use the ka power steering pump to you know.

It's a HICAS pump, you can't just plug it or it will leak.

Open the pump up and remove the fins on the rear section - real easy. Put it back together and then you can plug the 2nd outlet with a bolt and tight rubber o-ring.
