I thought it was the piepans that were most desirable

The bumper does appear to be a different color, I am planning on repainting them both, hopefully I get closer then the last guy.

The Active Suspension is coming online the car will raise and lower, but it riding rough so I think it need an accumulator recharge.

I dont see any leaks but I dont know what to look for exactly, 1 boot seems to be cracked, but it must have happened recently as it still looks really clean

Can the boots be purchased seperatly?

I will keep the thread updated through the restoration process

They might have not put the correct number of pearl coats to match. Pearl paint is tricky. When I had my rear bumper painted, they took a didtal reading of my paint.

Keith is your man for that. Here is a pic of the 9 accumulators that came off of my car and sent to Keith for recharging:

Yes the boots can be purchased separately for about $23 each. Once they get torn, they can allow dirt and debris to get inside on the rod and eventually tear the seal that supposed to seal the fluid and then you'll end up like me, needing a new actuator.

Congrats on your purchase. Nice looking Q. That's the way to buy a car. Research it, know what you want, and have the patience to wait until the right one shows up. Can't wait to see it in person.

How does NissanDataScan interface with the active ECU? Any active data available?

I need to get some of those boots then I image changing them is the same process as changing the struts. luckily mine look like they just broke so not much dirt yet inside.

I know pearl is real hard to paint but I plan to give it shot anyways, the technique I have heard to use it to spray the pearl coats real light and build until you get the correct hue. How much did the shop charch for the repaint. Its 118 a pint at paintscratch.com

What weird is the car handles really well, and does not dive when braking it just rides rough. Do I need to do all 9 at once?

The inside is kinda dirty, but I think it will clean up nice. I power washed my mats 2200 psi and they came out pretty good. I will post some before and after shots after I get it fixed up inside.

Everything inside works its just needs cosmetics which is fun in my opinion

The nico consult has not access to the active computer, wouldnt that be cool anyone here want to write some code?

Since my car is lifted on the front right side and sinking on the rear left....why not send me a nice heavy top-sided yankee girl to sit in the front passenger seat to straighten out my crooked car, "eh" Wes? I'll cover the duty and imprtation taxes
