makes the car look 70-80`s with full length red tail lamp treatment-for those of us old enough to remember, that was THE look back then, from trans-ams to others-they even use to sell "inserts" to fill in the space between tail lamps that didnt come with the entire rear end filled with red taillamp-very popular on the old 280-300zx,944,celicas,etc of the time.maybe it will come back? just like the analog clock-everyone has it now from chryslers,mercedes,ford...lost it`s uniqueness to infiniti-maybe infiniti should switch to digital when everyone converts to analog!

Very funny Wes

I am more interested in getting everyone's thoughts on other options not red specifically, for example:

Actually, it was the 1965 (I think) Skylark that fiirst featured the side to side continuous taillight.

Personally, I think Infiniti got this detail along with a quite a few others riight on the Q45 and not so good on the Presidents which come of as disconnected, unbalanced or just garish rather than tasteful.

Shame so many members are turning their cars into lipstick queens. Louvers for the trunk? Sheeeesh.

What I want to do sometime is paint the part onthe 94 where the infiniti logo and the reverse lights are to black. Right now its got that diffused gray color and I think itd look a lot sharper black....

I still can't make up my mind on what rear end style/color/tail light/model/generation I like most:

Q45

90-93 with 94-96 tail lights (photoshopped)& 90-93 with 94-96 tail lights and finish panel (original pic)

My Car

My car starting to get dark out - I think I might like the all black look

94-96

ok no more pics unless there are requests.

No, I am not. It was the mid size Buick. It might have been the GS model only. Unfortunately memory fades.

I drove a 1966 Toronado for about a week. Rather liked it for what was out there at the time. A Vette was about the same price, but a lot less insurable for a kid. I like Jay Leno's the best.

And here it is, kiddies:

And again:

I like the tail on your lino better than the blacked out on that pearl. I dont like the trunk lid piece with the grey strip much. Are those all taillights that can fit in the G50 or are those different years of Q's

Do you mean one of these ones? Left or right? Or was it another pic?

As far as I know all G50 Q45 tail lights fit all 1990-1996 G50s. The other lights in the pictures are from the G50 President. I believe you'll need the President trunk lid to be able use them.

That is more than likely a photoshop done for illustration purposes.

The panel could be tinted or painted any color a customer desired.

Yes to do the President conversion all you will need is the trunk and 2 lights.

That said, I always thought the big red tail lights were the best part of the 97-04 Century/Regal.
