I'm purchasing an R200 diff from a skyline and wondering if the actual housing and diff are the same across the board. I know that Nissan used R200 diffs among many of their RWD vehicles. Are they all the same or does each R200 diff made for each vehicle?

The diffs are the same but the gear ratios and casings vary. The r32 gtst is a direct bolt in for the s13 where as the r33 is a direct bolt in for the s14. I believe they are both 4.36:1

r32 gts-t auto/manual finals are the same 4.36 and bolt into a s13.r33 gts-t auto is 4.36 and the manual is 4.10, both bolt into a s14.also abs rear ends have slightly longer pinions to compensate for the additional abs sensor ring.

the r33 gts-t auto and manual also bolt into the s-13 if you swap the rear diff cover.

true but you'll also need the diff bushings and the longer bolts to install it properly...same goes with the r32 pumpkin in to a s14, swap rear covers and you're golden but you'll need the r32/s13 nose bolts for it to bolt in properly.
