I am buying a Y-pipe pretty soon for my Max. So I just wanna know what other people have in there maximas and I30s. I plan on getting either a Budget or a warpspeed. The thing is... both are the same price and both have good feedback and results for $200(Aluminized) bucks both are Mandrel bend and not as pricey as the Stillen and Cattman ones...

So lets see what all of us have on here and find out what the most chosen Y or as Budget now calls them F-pipes...

I think it resembles an F more than a Y anyway...

I am keeping the poll open so people can add there own brand Y/F pipe that I did not think of putting in... another thing I am wondering is if I should go for the Aluminized one and save $50 bucks or go for the polished one... I am sure they are made out of the same martial.

I have the CE (Custom Enterprise) they were the only ones to make one for the 6th gen. They have since gone out of biz, but the product is good!

Warpspeed. The local exhaust shop that I use, LOL'd and said he could have built a better pipe for the same $300. It is a good pipe, However I had some rattling from it. It was annoying. Was fixed, but....

Yeah I never dealt directly with them, I did e-mail them and call them with questions about the y-pipe but never got any reply or call. So after they went out of business, a guy from the maxima.org bought all the leftover y-pipes that they never picked up and I got mine for $180 shipped from Canada.

Depends where the rattling is coming from. I've installed about a dozen of them, I've traced rattles to a lack of clearance from the engine crossmember, at two or three points on the transmission tunnel, etc.

I just finished installing a Davco Mfg. New Bedford Ma. . No problems . I got it for $293 with tax at Lake County Foreign Auto in Perry ,Ohio. Came with the Gaskets . Welds looked good and fit in place nice. Came with a 2 year /25000 mile warenty on epa and 5/50000 on welds and flex couplingand brackets. So I'm happy it quiet and I can hear all the other stuff to fix. Oh , it does not have heat shields .
