Green Day was one of my favorite bands until American Idiot. Now I couldn't hate them more.I still listen to their old stuff all the time though. *sigh* what a shame. Which Green Day do you like? The old or the new? (and don't say they are the same because the sounds are completely different.)

I'm replacing #3 with The Roots. And that's my list. But my real list would have be probably a top 20 since i listen to just about everything, minus country, except for some johnny cash and willie nelson

Tom Petty rocks. I own all but his first couple of albums. I have to say I was pretty disappointed with Highway Companion, though. I liked the style of Wildflowers, Echo, and Last DJ a lot more.

im glad someone else hates green day as much as i do. also, anything they play on mtv sucks **** through a straw. i wish the leads for some of these bands would hit puberty already so they would sound like actual males.anyways, after the rambling, no particular order after number one 1. Machine Head 2. Mudvayne 3. No Scope (friends of mine, played with the next band a few times) 4. Element 80 (no longer together) 5. Spineshank (Height of Callousness)

Yeah, they're an amazing band, the Blackening is the best since Burn my Eyes. I've seen them live only twice, the first was in a club 20 years ago on Halloween night (Burn my Eyes Tour). They came out dressed like Kiss and dumped fake blood on the crowd *great night* and the other concert was around last year with like 30 bands. Pretty good show that night, that one had 36 Crazyfist, Trivium, Chimara, Twelve Tribes, and of course Machine Head among others.
