You are welcome, but it turns out the answer is not simple. If you want to use the existing fog light switch, then this is pretty non-trivial and not exactly be non-reversible without an equal amount of work!
You have to trace the wiring from the switch and disconnect it from the connector to the BCM (Body Control Module) first. Since the wiring harness is pretty integrated, this involves a lot of work to get to the wires, switch and BCM. The BCM actually uses the car CAN bus to send the actual "turn on" instruction to the IPDM E/R (Intelligent Power Distribution Module Engine Room), which performs the function of energizing the relay that turn on the fog lights.
You also have to disconnect the wires to the turn-on relay at the IPDM E/R (it is not just a simple wire to the lamp from the internal switch) and run a wire directly from the existing switch to the fog light connectors.
A heck of a lot of work!
A slightly simpler approach might be to disconnect the lamps and directly wire them to a new installed switch inside your car - with a fuse too, of course! This involves finding a location for the new switch, wiring through the firewall, hooking up to the ignition side of the ignition switch (assuming that you want the lights to go off when the car is turned off, else you could go directly to the battery), etc.
And, yes, depending on the amount of internal changes you made installing the new switch, this would be "reversible" in the sense that you could reconnect the wires from the lights to the IPDM, remove the internal switch and direct wires, etc.
FWIW, the wiring diagrams for all this involve multiple pages from multiple sections in the Service Manual. This would be painful for me to extract out and post here. I suggest that, if you want to do this, you can download the entire Service Manual from
http://www.nissan-techinfo.com/infiniti for about $20 (for a single day's access) and proceed from there. If you are not electrically facile, then you may need to get a 12-Volt shop to do the work for you.
Good luck!
