Hey, on my vert, everything works fine when i wanna drop the top. Like all the windows go down and everything along with the top, but when i wanna put the top up nothing happens i always have to do it by hand.

I was just wondering if a lot of people have this problem and what i could do to fix the problem.

Thanks.

So there's no sound or anything when you push 'Top Up' button? If so, I would guess it's more like an electrical problem. I would pop the 'Top Up' button in the console and make sure it's connected. I wonder if there's fuse related to top up & down operation. Top is operated by hydraulic, so you will still hear the sound of motot running even though hydraulic line has a problem.

When you do it by hand, I think you should set the motor to 'maunal operation' and do it. Otherwise, you could overload the hydraulic line. There's a knob that you can turn on top of the motor. Pls correct me if I'm wrong. I don't want to pass out wrong information.

I had the same problem with my vert. It was the reversing relay behind the rear seat. When you pull the rear seat back out you'll find several relays taped to the wire bundle. It's the wide one furthest to the passanger side of the car. You can do a google look-up on the number on the relay, should be about 15 to 20 bucks..... A place to start anyway!

That's cool. Yeah, there's a whole bunch of relays wrapped with electrical tape behind the back seat, and I was wondering if they can go bad or not. Good to know!!!

"Like all the windows go down and everything along with the top, "

out of curiosity, when everyone tops goes down it only take the rear windows down automatically right? you have to manually put the front ones down? or is mine broken? Sorry if this is a bit off topic.

No, yours is not broken. Only quarter windows go down automatically if you hit 'Top Down' switch along with the top.

whoa thanks for all the responses guys sweet i got some stuff to look into now this weekend.

Maybe i was mistaken on all the windows going down, i haven't had my vert for that long and it hasn't worked since day one so ya i havent become completely aware of its actions.

I got this weekend to try and figure out the problem though i will definitely get back to you guys as soon as i have any information.
