6-speed:

31 Highway

4-speed auto:
24 City
32 Highway

CVT:

Above we see the newly revised government figures for Versa fuel economy.

As a refresher, here is the data collected during the Nissanversa.org Fuel Economy Survey:

Overall Test Results
Total reported mileage: 26037.7
Total gallons expended: 896.3
Overall fuel economy: 29.05 MPG

Test Results: CVT transmission
Total reported mileage: 13428.0
Total gallons expended: 476.6
Overall fuel economy: 28.17 MPG

Test Results: 6-speed Manual transmission
Total reported mileage: 9707.8
Total gallons expended: 313.6
Overall fuel economy: 30.96 MPG

Test Results: 4-speed Automatic transmission (Insufficient sample size)
Total reported mileage: 2898.9
Total gallons expended: 106.1
Overall fuel economy: 27.32 MPG

Test Results: By traffic type
Type A (0-25 mph): 29.28 mpg (Insufficient sample size)
Type B (26-45 mph): 25.13 mpg
Type C (46+ mph): 30.78 mpg

Test Results: By weight
Type A (driver only): 29.41 mpg
Type B (driver +1): 22.29 (Insufficient sample size)
Type C (2 or more passengers): 29.51 (Insufficient sample size)

Test Results: By altitude
Type A (0-1500): 29.19 mpg
Type B (1501-3000): 27.38 (Insufficient sample size)
Type C (3000+): no data

Test Results: By driving habits
Type A (conservative): 29.42 mpg
Type B (moderate): 28.98 mpg
Type C (aggressive): 28.31 (Insufficient sample size)

Test Results: By A/C use
Type A (0-30%): 29.17 mpg
Type B (31-70%): 29.00 mpg
Type C (71%+): 28.51 (Insufficient sample size)

None of the results that we see are particularly out of line with the newly revised EPA estimates. I do acknowledge that for those who purchased cars before the new figures were available this is a bit of a headache and a letdown, it has also widely been acknowledged for years that EPA estimates have, for the most part, been high.

I would like to thank everyone who has participated in the survey. For the benefit of future Versa owners, I will leave this thread stickied and locked. If you would like to discuss the final results, feel free to create a new thread.

Mileage as of last fillup: 29265
Economy (Lifetime/Worst/Best): 29.79/26.12/34.72 MPG
Buh-bye Versa. Too bad you broke so often.
