I wouldn't worry about that. At the rate you are going you'll never need it!silmaster wrote:How's this?
Sorry for the 240sx.org on there. I should make a Nico version.

I don't mind helping people, but if they're too lazy to search, then that's not fair to make me do the work. It is their problem.
Yeah, I see where you are coming from. But does everyone have to be a smartass you know?Red coupe wrote:I cant even remember the last technical thread Ive started here because Ive answered most my own questions searching here, and other places...
The biggest hassle in searching is sifting though all the pointless threads by people who are to lazy to do a search them self start.
Its ridiculous to expect a community to answer the same questions over and over. Were only human and at some point we just cant care anymore. So you get various shades of this expressed in the answers. Some threads get very complete answers, while some just get flamed, some have miss-information, ect...
Rather then having a few succinct threads that are revisited on a topic, where miss-information or ambiguities can be worked out over time, with a larger number of members viewing the thread we end up with good information distributed over a much larger number of threads. Its really quite pain in the *** to wade through all the redundant threads to piece together all the info your looking for.
After spending as much time as many of us have spent researching our own problems before we start new threads its just annoying to see ANOTHER thread diluting the archives.....
Duh! It ups their post count!EvillE423 wrote:What I don't understand is why EVERYONE on here is such a smartass. If someone new gets on here and asks a question about his car, he don't want a bunch of smartass comments about searching. If it pisses you off that bad, why do you even open the post to read it? If you don't like it, don't read it. Get over it. What's the big deal? Why waste the five minutes of your day that you could be doing something useful like acutally helping someone that has asked a question instead of leaving dumb smartass comments on someones post. Haven't figured it out yet.
Who gives a **** dude? Maybe those threads aren't pointless to me. And if it bothers you that bad, don't read the damn ****. Keep your worthless opinions to your self. Who gives a **** if they have been answered. Maybe I hate searching like you hate answering a question that has already been answered. Maybe this is my way of searching to find some info. If you don't like it, kiss my white *** *****!cmfireman wrote:I normally link to the pertinant information, but ONLY if the OP meets these requirements:

If you've been here a while, create a pointles THIS VS.THAT thread, are an a$$, have no clue what you're talking about, or have created many absolutely pointless threads....
