hey, I'm posting this for a friend since I was wondering the question myself. So he was wondering if the blitz LM intercooler for the RB25 comes with piping and if so will it fit an s14 with an RB25 swapped into it? Also will an SR Blitz FMIC work for this? Basically does it come with piping and will it fit? I tried to help him but I know only basics on RB's.

An intercooler designed to fit the Skyline with RB25 will also fit into the S13/S14 with and RB25 installed.

You will need to cut holes for piping and depending on the kit possibly relocate your battery. You may also have to make a few brackets and trim your bumper for clearance. In many cases with the FMIC you have to remove your front crash brace(the metal bumper under the plastic bumper skin).

The fender clearance is a little tighter in S13's with SMIC than the S14, but in either case you can cram them in there.

Is your friend running a greddy intake manifold? If not, then he will have to custom fab a lot of piping back up to the stock throttle body.

No piping "kit" that you buy for an SR will work for an RB25. There will be a significant amount of fabrication once the intercooler piping enters the engine bay. You might as well just buy the intercooler separately and fabricate your own piping to save money on buying a kit that won't help you much. Don't forget that he will have to recirc his new BOV back into the intake pipe.

Hes got the Greddy manifold. He said he might go with the Blitz kit made for an RB25, the company he is getting it from said it should work with some minor trimming and should look fine. Can anyone back this just, just wondering?

What are the dimensions of the FMIC and ill tell you...I've done alot of FMIC setups on various vehicles from Z31 turbos to SC300's including my own RB25DET with greddy intake manifold.

well here's the problem. he has the manifold so wont the kit not work from the gts-t since its got that weird intake manifold? Will an RB26 or SR kit work, but someone said the sr kit will have excess piping, no?here's the blitz measurement anyway-L610 X H266 X W68mm

I know this is kinda stupid but he said he wants this so he can get s FMIC look like this where the piping is out like that and comes out at the bottom. Do you know any other kits like this?

i have a greddy FMIC. with SR piping kit. somwhat close, but still had to do some custom fabbing on the piping. you can see where the custom fabbing started, and why youre best off just doing it all custom...

i dont have any strait on shots, sorry. but this is they style he wants? with the inlet/outlet low on the endtanks?

EDIT: i DO have the greddy IM, and my tial bov will NOT be recirculated. (tuned via PFC)

Um, that seems actually about right. So that is an SR FMIC right? I can almost guarantee that he will end up getting a blitz FMIC for an SR like u did with the greddy and just do custom fab work on piping. That will work right?^^^BTW: hes pretty set on the greddy type-s BOV. he will vent I belief since hes gonna tune with the power FC d-jetro.

just make sure the IC is for an S14. just have the piping custom made. the guy that modified my SR piping didnt use much of it. a waste of money IMO.

front mount intercooler are pretty much universal. just have a fab shop do your piping accordingly.

why did the piping suck? did it bolt right on or did you have to mod it in any way?
