Post

This thread is being set aside for people to post pictures of different wheels they have actually fit on their G50 Q45.

Ideally, each post should include a picture of the wheels on the car accompanied with the appropriate details. We may not have all of the details for every option we have tried... but, include as much info as possible.

Wheel brandWheel modelWheel diameterWheel widthWheel offsetWheel weight

Tire brandTire modelTire diameterTire widthTire aspectTire speed ratingTire load rating

Finally...include any addtional info about the fitment that may be relevant. Lowered supsension, wheel spacers, changes in alignment, etc.

The obligatory pie-pans.

Front wheels have 10mm spacers to accomodate z32 brake upgrade. Suspension is Active that is barely operational, so body does not always sit as high as factory original design.

Alright brothers and sisters... time to post up what you have on your Q.

I've added what i was able to find from previous threads. I found a whole lot of references to wheels with some abstract discussion. But, I found very little that included specs and/or pictures. I'm hoping to add pics for the 350z wheels that had specs but no pics.

So, post up what you have. If you don't have all the specs that's not a problem. Just leave ? in the places you don't have info for. If you can post a pic.. please do. If you are having trouble posting a pic, see the stickie at the top of the forum for help.

If you know of, or have seen, some threads that include more fitment information for the G50... feel free to snatch the info from that thread and post it in this thread.

I do request that you follow the format... I would like to keep the thread consistent if possible. Feel free to discuss in this thread... I will go back and delete posts that don't have wheel info...but, I'll leave them up for a little while for discussion.

I hope people won't mind some wiiiide banner type collages

Wheel Brand: WorkWheel Model: VS-KFWheel Diameter: 18"Wheel Width: 9"Wheel Offset: +9mm, R diskWheel Weight: ?

Tire Brand: ?Tire Model: ?Tire Diameter: 18Tire Width: 225Tire Aspect: 40Tire Speed Rating: ?Tire Load rating: ?

Tire Notes: Do not remember the tire specs, but I believe they were some Yokohamas in 225/40-18s

Wheel Fitment Notes: Wheels of this fitment can fit with just some fender rolling, and some slight negative camber adjustment in the rear using the stock eccentric bolts. This could be considered a mild-extreme fitment.

another wiiiide collage

Wheel Brand: WorkWheel Model: VS-XXWheel Diameter: 18"Wheel Width: 9" f/10" rWheel Offset: -4mm, R disk f/+0mm, A disk rWheel Weight: ?

Tire Brand: ?Tire Model: ?Tire Diameter: 18Tire Width: 225 (front) 235 (rear)Tire Aspect: 40Tire Speed Rating: ?Tire Load rating: ?

Tire Notes: I ran several different types of tires with these wheels, but consistently stuck to 225/40-18 f/235/40-18 r

Wheel Fitment Notes: I would consider these an extreme fitment wheel setup. Fenders will need to be rolled flat and slightly pulled. Adjustable upper control arms or modified ones will need to be used in the rear, as the stock eccentric bolts will not provide enough negative camber. Rear toe adjuster rods will also be needed to bring toe back to spec (unless you have HICAS, which has adjustable tie rod ends). Front upper control arms will also need to be shortened for additional negative camber in front. Lowering is definitely recommended also...

Wheel Brand: WorkWheel Model: Euroline S2HWheel Diameter: 19"Wheel Width: 9" f/10" rWheel Offset: +15mm, O disk f/+20mm, W disk rWheel Weight: ?

Tire Brand: DunlopTire Model: ?Tire Diameter: 19Tire Width: 225 (front) 245 (rear)Tire Aspect: 35Tire Speed Rating: ?Tire Load rating: ?

Tire Notes: Tires were usually Dunlops in 225/35-19 f/245/35-19 r

Wheel Fitment Notes: This is a fitment that I think the majority of folks will settle into within the next 1-2 years. I consider it a conservative-extreme fitment, as it gives the car a very flush appearance, without requiring too much additional work, or worries even when daily driven. Fenders will need to be rolled, and a little bit extra negative camber will need to be dialed into the rear. You can also go with an offset about 8-10mm higher all around if you don't want to camber too much (although you won't need much camber for this particular fitment to clear a set of rolled fenders), or go about 15mm higher if you want to run a little bit less of a stretched tire all around.

Wheel Brand: Super Star Wheels' Leon HardirittWheel Model: OrdenWheel Diameter: 19"Wheel Width: 10" f/11" rWheel Offset: +19mm (+14mm with a 5mm wheel spacer), Low disk, Normal Curl rim f/+6mm, Low disk, Normal Curl rim rWheel Weight: ?

Tire Brand: DunlopTire Model: JDM LM702Tire Diameter: 19Tire Width: 225 (front) 245 (rear)Tire Aspect: 35Tire Speed Rating: ?Tire Load rating: ?

Tire Notes: Tires are Dunlops again (I love the JDM LM702s!) in 225/35-19 f/245/35-19 r, but will probably swap the 245s to the fronts and put the 275/30-19s back on the rear wheels.

Wheel Fitment Notes: Negative camber beyond the capacity of most aftermarket adjustable control arms is needed in the rear. Fenders of course need to be rolled flat and slightly pulled. Front also needs shortened upper control arms for a little bit extra negative camber (and caster). This would be an extreme fitment. The images show a lot more negative camber than is present when the car is raised to ride height though, but even then, the amount of negative camber needed in the rear is quite drastic. Note that this is not a "race" or "high-performance" track setup, since that is not the purpose of this particular car.

I'm wanting to get the deep lip 18'' wheels off of the newer G35.

Has anyone used G35 wheels before? What kind of spacers do I need?

What's the width/offset? Then we can let you know, but I'd assume (unless they're like the new Z33 Rays) they'd fit.

As long as the offset is between 30 & 40, you'll be fine.

30 will have you close to the fender.40 close to the suspension. 35 would allow for the widest tire, but an 8" wheel width will be the limit there.

Someone told me that +45 offset from 18 x 8.5 will fit on 1994 q45 running 245f 275/or 255 rear without problems and rubbing? . Is this entirely flawlessly accurately correct. If it is il buy his rims right now. Nismo 57F 18 x 8.5 +45. Pls advice thanks
