Is there a hum coming from your engine area? If there is, that's your ABS pump.

You need to pull the ABS relay. The ABS relay is on your passenger side, under the hood. It sits in a plastic box. Open the lid of the box (the lid is held with tabs). The relay/module is a large square thing, strictly plug and play, Pull up on it (straight up and not on an angle) and it should come out.

You can buy another ABS relay/module at your Infiniti/Nissan dealer.

Even if you don't have the hum, the likely cause of your ABS light is the relay/module. Get a new one and you should be good to go.

Hi, I've got the ABS light with the noise in the engine compartment. Just curious about which part to replace. I see both ABS modules and ABS relays on line. The module seems to be quite a bit more expensive than the relay. Do you know the part number of module/relay that you suggest replacing?

Thanks!

Jim,

As far as I know all relays for on the J30 and other Nissans have different colors depending on what configuration the relay has. So basically look for the relay of the same color. I was buying a brown relay that was sold for Nissan Pathfinder for example, but it perfectly fit into my baby.

Guys correct me if I''m wrong.

Welcome to NICO asapjim!!

To test your relays/modules pull them out one at a time, to see if the ABS pump stops priming. If in doubt replace them both.
