ok, i installed a chipped ecu, bigger injectors with stock sr fuel rail(installed on the rail first, then installed as a whole), and z32 maf. and no start. it sounded like the engine wasnt getting any fuel so i decided to check to see if there was power to the injectors with a circuit tester. nothing all wires were dead. i put back in the stock ecu and tested again. still no power. any suggestions on what to check?

ok, update. i got the pinout diagram and decided to see if the ecu was sending out any power to the injectors. nothing. plugged back in the stock ecu, that wasnt even sending out power to the injectors. i put the circuit tester right to the outside of the pins where the wires were coming out of. some of the other wires that werent injectors, lit up and they were is the 100 series with the injectors, so its not the plug. there has to be a wire or some sensor thats telling the ecu to not put power to the injectors. talk about weird. oh, and all fuses are fine. i looked at them all.

did you test the injector wires for power while cranking or just with the ignition on? It seems to me that the injectors shouldn't be firing until the engine is spinning.

Just a suggestion, my SR won't start either.

even with the car off, the red wire should read 12 volts. i tried testing while starting the car and with it on/ off. tested the ecu on another car. theres no break in wiring from the ecu to the injectors. something is telling the ecu not to open the injector. i have spark, i have fuel pressure to the fuel rail. just no power to the injectors

Hey, i was just wondering how you solved the problem? I have the same problem only with the sparkplugs.

The only thing i can think of is getting a new 62 ecu

umm, it was a combo of ecu issue with fuel pump and a blown fuse the blew in a weird spot. i did have to get a new ecu though
