Hello guys,

For next summer I'm planning on buying chrome wheels for my 2001 Nissan Pathfinder XE model.

Some of my buddies are telling me it's a bad idea to go with 22inch chrome rims. They are telling me that I will have suspension and transmission problems and that I might crack the rims....

Are they being haters? or is it really a bad idea to go with 22 inch rims?

I dont see a reason to go with 20 inch since pathfinders have 6 bolt pattern.

Also, whats a good rim/tire size to go with. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

20" is the way to go, 22's are a bit to big. If you went with dueces, you would have to run a really low pro tire which affects the ride of the truck tremendously. Here som pics of some 20's on mine, these are for sale because I took them off about 6 months ago when I traded my pathfinder in for a new truck, but they've been sitting in my garage because I haven't had a chance to sell them.......

Agreed, 22" on a Pathy is just too big.

Consider the weight of those hogs and the fact that you have stock brakes, and 22's are looking for trouble.

i took a piece out of the photo my girl was standing their. the whole look of the tire looks small because it is mostly rim, their is only about 2 to 2 1/2 inches or of tire.

to me 22 are very small.but they fit perfect

dont have pics yet,but it fits with lots of space,i had 02 pathy 17s on and those are 8" 18 offset so the 22s only stick out less than 1" more
