Yeh, which way. If there are curved internal fins, they should always sweep outward, so that the natural flow will be to scoop air out from the hub, aided by centrifugal force. If the internal vanes are straight, the direction won't matter to them. The idea is that you're trying to pull cooling air out through the rotor and a spinning disc will try to sling the air out by itself. Trying to "scoop it in" will be fighting that natural flow.As for slots, grooves or drill patterns, go with what the manufacturer says. I'd always thought that you'd still want to have centrifugal force helping the slots to sweep out gasses, water and debris, but Brembo says to have theirs sweep "in". Beats me. But I'm not above suspecting the engineers designing and building things just might know more about their products and their use than I do.
