So guys.....I went to see the Guns n Roses concert friday night. Wasn't sure what to expect since it was just Axl Rose and a new band. Well let me tell you, if you are a G&R fan, or just a rock fan, go see them in concert. It was un****ingbelievable! I've seen a lot of very good concerts and they were simply the best hands down.
Here's the run down of the evening....Concert started at 8, the first of the 3 opening acts came out. Was the "suicide girls" which was some dance crew/strippers. Girls were pasty, small chested and for the most part gross. Stripped to a bunch of old school rock tunes, not impressed.
Next up was Sebastian Bach, as in Skid Row. Was never a huge Bach fan, but man, he rocked....really really hard. Played for over an hour which included classics like monkey business and I remember you. Very impressed.
Next up were the Eagles of Death Metal. They blew big time. Crowd boo'd them, they sucked worse. Axl Rose later apoligized calling them the Pigeons of **** Metal and informing us that they would no longer be touring with G&R. Obviously not impressed with them.
Now we wait....exactly at midnight it goes dark and you hear Axl yell "Do you know where the **** you are?!?!?!" place went nuts and they opened with Welcome to the Jungle. Band sounded ****ing awesome, Axl's voice sounded exactly like it did 10-15 years ago. No one missed a beat. They covered all the big hits and some new stuff. Bach came out and sang with Rose on My Michelle, was bad ***. Over two hours later they closed with Night Train. An encore followed and they wrapped up the night with Paradise City. Unreal how good it was. Beyond impressed.
We were there over 6 hours, had a killer time, seats weren't bad (especially since I won them for free from the local radio station!). If you ever have a chance to go see them......DO IT!!!
Here's some pictures from the night....

Also....I have a few videos I took with my digital camera including the entire November Rain performance by G&R and "I remember you" by Sebastian Bach. Don't know how legal it is or where to host them tho. Anyway, ****ing wicked concert
