convertible eBay top

looking into buying one sometime this week. wondering if anyone has bought their top through eBay. would you recomend it or should i go someplace else to get a new top. also let me know if theres other places that sell tops for cheap.

i just put an ebay top on a red vert last month. I have to say that it's of good quality and he even marks the lines for you where the top needs to line up with the tack strip in the rear.

jcwhitney carries a couple different kinds of tops for the vert as well, including vinyl ones if thats your thing.

Once attwater mentioned about Elektron top and he said it's the best quality IIRC. Any info on this?

BTW, my top has black stitches. Does this mean that it's been replaced before? I've seen pictures of vert with white stitches and I think that's stock top. Any input on this? Here's the deal. I want to know what's going to last forever without fading. My top has marks on frame area, wrinkle on c-pillar area, and I just hate it.

attwater said it's the best quality you can get for 240 vert IIRC. Anyone can verify that? I don't care about the price. I just want the best quality available out there since it will be there for a long time once it's on. BTW, attwater hasn't posted for a long time. Where are you?
