There's a possibility that it can, but if you put a seat cover over a side impact bag, it's pretty much useless. Most seat covers are designed with nice tight stiches to make them durable, which would prevent a bag from deploying. If the seams were very very loose, then you may have a fighting chance. Don't put a seat cover on if you would like to use it the way it was designed. There are companies that make sideless seat covers that allow the bag to deploy, but a lot of them look cheesey.

Mine are made with the air bag in mind, they have little air bag tags on the sides too. I don't know if you can find regular seat covers like that. Mine are cusom leather and not cheap. <~ not trying to brag but I do love them.

see them here- zerothread/253737

Thanks, for your nice comments. I paid like $1,000 or $1,100 through the dealer and a company ATD here in Denver did them I am not sure where they get them. I picked Ivory and Beige, my second choice would have been Ivory and a Gray that matched the dash??

Bob - what does the place you've used charge for the seats + installation in a Versa-sized car?

Thanks for the quick response to the e-mail, by the way.
