I would replace the SSAC FMIC as quick as possible with a quality make. Other than that, super classic. Good job!

Right now i running stock seeing as i dont want to kill the turbo with no bov and a stock exhaust. Plus im on stock ka fuel pump. Eventually 14psi on a sr t28. But thats far off.

The big nipple near the throttle body on the coldpipe...that is for the air regulator. Yours is plugged, so I assumed that you are not running an air regulator.

seriously... whats wrong with the SSAC FMIC.. i have one.. nothing wrong with it at all.. its a perfect fit.. and its quite large for a very affordable price. friend of mine actually took it to his school and had it rated along side a GReddy one and they did pretty good. I think the rating was for how much air they could flow and the preasure they could take. Apparently the SSAC was rated just as well

edit: awesome swap btw.. CA love.. looks just like mine.. you running the S14/S15 SR FMIC? Mine fit perfectly

it's a s14 sr kit and that big nipple is intended for the stock sr bov. dont need so just cut and plug +1 for ca love. and yes my ssac fmic works just fine. its not like its pistons, camshafts, or a turbo. oh and yeah looks good man thats one clean engine bay.

He's running an S14/S15 FMIC kit. That is the stock location where the recirc valve connects. There is another nipple on the bottom side of the pipe that you can't see that is for the idle crap. I had mine plugged JUST like that when I was running that kit.

OK, freaked me out a little, lol. My custom CA specific coldpipe has only one nipple, so I was confused, lol.

Yeah, clean swap man!

ssac makes the EXACT same intercooler as turbo xs for subarus. They won a lawsuit against them for making exact copies. Ebays SSautochrome was sued by TurboXS for producing a front mount intercooler system identical to that of TurboXS' "hyperflow" design for the WRX and STI. SSautochrome was selling the setup on Ebay for less than half the price that TurboXS sold it for. The two intercoolers were compared and found to be completely identical and all of the accesories with it were found to be the same also. After a long battle in court, TurboXS lost and now SSautochrome has since put it back into production.

theres nothing wrong with ssac intercoolers, its mostly their headers/manifolds that have problems.
