I'm confused, you are saying that you have some bolt ons and racing cams yet you are using the stock computer? No wonder the car is running like crap. I'm surprised that the people who sold you your cams didn't prepare you for what kind of ecu and/or programming you should use.

Most stock computers can handle stock blocks heads with standard bolts ons (header/intake/exhaust) but once you start screwing with the internals (big lobe racing cams), you really confuse the heck out of the ecu.

I dont' know what kind, but I'm just surprised that pdm didn't offer suggestions for what to use with their cams.

I'm kind of curious about something, what is the stock hp ratings for this engine and what are you hoping for in numbers?

I just told him in ka 140 whp from 140chp is an increase of 30hp at a 22% drivetrain loss. The car makes 140 crank horse power factory and to put down 140 wheel horse power is 30 hp gain +/- a few.

hey he kinda got screwed by jet. Not his fault really. I have seem the .bin for jet and powerchips have fun with that. Indy tuning is the only way. Fit you and your engine into the right tune. An afc if your shady about real tuning.

Okay I'll be nice. An afc is an air flow converter or an air flow controller. Main company for that is apexi super afc I think they are on neo model now, and a couple other companies I just cant think of right now. AFC normaly only control fuel +/- %. I dont know alot about these. Indy tuning is not a used phrase I dont believe but its tuning the ecu yourself with an eprom burner or emulator or even the consult and a computer which you already have. :wink This type of tuning is not for the faint of heart but most can handle it. It gives you total control of fuel and ignition timing. Also lets you compensate for larger maf or injectors. I feel eprom burning is time consuming but worth the effort once a good tune is worked out. I would not recommend any self tuning without a wideband o2 sensor and gauge. I personally only use a one wire narrow band o2 sensor and summit gauge. Do NOT run off the factory o2 by splitting the signal. (inaccurate as f***) more laterif your lucky sucka
