Not really. using the VH meant only pistons to be changed. As far as i know the rods have had the usual linish treatment etc but everything else except cams pretty much std. The stockcars have to be carbied. Also has aftermarket valve springs. They costed a bit as i think the guys had probs getting something cheap and common to fit.This car may be a bit rough, but it isnt far from the top in its class. The main reason he didnt get to race the finals last year was that the comp ratio was at 10:2 instead of the regulated 10:0. This season maybe....Also inj isnt allowed and holley 4 barrels are cheap and 'easy'.
