I can't find any nissan diesel engines availible for me to buy in north america. why is this , when there are a big-o-buttload of 'em in the rest of the world? There are td25 and td27w/4x4trans, on ebay.uk right now, cheap too, but of course no one wants to mess with shipping these to the us. people are too busy stockpiling sr20det's. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-D21-Pickup ... ewItemthis engine would definatly fit right into a nissan pickup!............

......and biodiesel is very cheap!and you get more MPG!!and it is 20 times less polluting!(like you all care.... )

You could look for an L28D from a 1981-1984 Maxima, but they were horribly gutless, making only 80 horsepower.

In Norway all all pickups and 4x4 come with diesel engines. Our cars does not have the same names, but i have a 2004 Nissan Navara with YD25DDTi Common Rail diesel engine. These engine have either 133 or 174hp.

If you have a lot of money you can import from norway...

2 reasons they are hard to find in USA:1. they didn't sell well when introduced2. they last forever, so people are less likely to sell used
