So I intalled AGX and Sportlines last weekend. My car (s14) sits nice in the back, but seems waay to low in the front - I will get pics sometime soon. It lowered the front about 1.8". Should I be afraid that my new shocks will not be able to cope with this? I am considering selling my Sportlines and getting Prokit or Tein.

tein s-tech on agx here.

the drop is not aggressive, it looks like the car should have from the factory. the ride is an excellent compromise for mixed daily driving.

Hey man, im running agx/sportlines right now on my s13 and i dont find they lowered that much at all. Ive been running them for about 2 years now and havent had any problems at all, and the roads here are terrible! Also, i had the prokits on before i installed the sportlines and i find the sportlines much better, harsher ride, but still better.

Yeah, I'm thinking I might get the prokit and sell the SLs to my little brother and while sporlines do void the warranty....that doesn't mean they will blow with sportlines does it?

No, just means that they will blow sooner.

This is why I keep saying, for the money, get Nismo S-Tunes. Same damn thing as all these crap springs and guesswork shocks, in an engineered package. With a 1 year warranty.

http://www.thenissanpartsstore...d=111NOTE: The pic is of the R-Tunes, which are fully adjustible. The actual S-Tunes are non adjustible.

And WAY less than I had to pay for em. But, then again, I was one of the first like 10 people in the US with them....but I digress

Do you know how much the S-Tunes lower the car (S13)?

The S-Tune lower the car 25mm front, 15mm rear.

Not for the ricer, but I'm not one....so they are great for me. More info on them can be found on my website. Just click the black banner in my sig, and go to the Chassis pages on the left, or click on the pic of the wheels on the main page. Fireworks is fun, LOL.

Tanabe DF210's on AGX's for me. love the drop and overall ride of the car. i believe it's 2" in front and 1.7" in the rear.

I'd say about a year, I ran the set up and the front shocks blew within exactly a year. Sportlines are crap, they lower way too much and they are progressively rated, which may be fine if you like comfort but if your'e doing any kind of motorsports it sucks. Not worth the risk. The only thing you could do to prolong the life of the shocks is to run them at a higher rate, but that would be quite a crappy ride. I ended up switching out the Sportlines for Suspension Technique springs and I couldn't be happier with how they feel/react.

Coming up on 3 1/2 years now on my AGX/ Sprint spring combo. That's with 2 trips accross the US overloaded with all my crap, and a lot of pothole/crappy road abuse... And I'm pretty low...

Hmmm, I think I may try to find some Prokit Front springs and use them in the front. My front is too low anyways.

If everything totally S**ts up I'll look into S tune coilovers
