95 S14...I ran a 15.6 with my auto..gettin the 5 speed swap on sunday...all i have an intake,4-2-1 header, 2.5 exhaust, nology wires, and denso plugs...having a one wheeler peeler sucks

I have a daily driver 1971 240Z with a built 2.9L 10.7:1 CR NA stroker motor with bored out SU's, Header ,3.9 Open Rear.

Best run on crappy street tires

12.804 @ 107.26 with 1.95 60 ft.

i was...i pulled a 15.4 on my 5 speed last week....i ran a 15.39 best at the track with the auto...and a 15.2 with my g-tech...i know my g-tech is accurate bc i have used it at the track before

92 Maxima 5-speed, factory VLSD

14.8 @ 93 mph 2.27 60-foot time

just bolt on stuff:

UDP
pop charger
y-pipe
cat-back
fidanza flywheel
act clutch
took out some weight in the trunk and seats (weighed 2950 with no driver)
traction limited stock 15 inch wheels and tires

I think with DRs or slicks, it could be more like 14.6.
I get a lot of wheelspin.

lol, 16.3 @ 85 mph.

SO FAST!

I probably could have gotten down to 16.0, if I had taken some more stuff out, and let some air out of my rear tires, I was running my auto-x tires with around 38 psi in the rear, didnt care enough to let any air out, and no burnout.

2.5" BRM cat back

Injen Intake
K&N Cone Filter
Clutchmasters FX100
J30 VLSD (3.9 gearing)
Kosei K1 wheels
and thats about all that would matter for straight line stuff.

This run was done on tenzo 18's w/215/35/18 falkens(see 60'), open diff(see 60'), 15yr old pressure plate(see60') , and over revving from 1st to 4th gears(7900 rpm) because my motor has no rev limiter, and after going over my gtech pro ss, I saw that I let off the gas at 15 seconds flat and rolled to a 15.6@91. In a couple of months I will be running a new racing clutch kit with a good lsd and should be doing easy 14's on street tires. (will post future runs)

Unless my tach is way off, but I did it more than once and now I can hear the lifters rattle a little. It still pulls hard though, as if there's nothing wrong, but maybe one day soon... BAM! sr20 time

Someone else on the n/a ka forum posted that with only bolt-ons, street tires, and weight reduction he ran a 14.8. He said his s13 was 300-400lbs lighter than stock somewhere around 2400lbs and that he "took out" a stock sr on the street.

Anyways, if my 14 sec goal doesn't work out I'm planning on doing a mild ct26 turbo install and after blowing my ka I'll go for an sr swap, or not.

took my 98 Maxima to the track last night. best pass was 15.3 @ 89.10mph. and now im hooked so looks like ill need to find a stillen V2 that someone has lying around in thier garage..

I "dumped" the clutch at 3grand. Oklahoma's Thunder Valley Raceway is not good at all. Plus I had crapy tires. Plus the rear end I have in my car is a 4 11 gear ratio...

I wish I had a 350Z to build up!

Anyways, not to be mean but why would some of you guys brag/post 15+ sec times? Unless maybe it were a before-after power adder comparison...

Anyways, I launch my Suburban at 1k rpm and try not to spin my 36.5" M/Ts so I can trap in under 1 min!

Still working on my 300's rebuild but the new clutch makes a huge difference I will have to figure that baby out before I'd be anywhere near competitive. I'm pretty sure I'm well under the stock ~14sec stock TT's time!

I noticed some people had lightweiight aluminum flywheels. I was wondering how these compared to stock flywheels for drag racing. It looked like the lightweight could hurt your 60 foot times, but once you launched it would make up for it? To compensate for the lightweight flywheel, can you just leave the line at higher revs to compensate?

I will let you know about fly wheel. I am having jwt fly and cluth put on next week, along with roll bar, corbeuo racing seat, 6 point harness, still hf cats, low temp thermostat, and willwood brak kit. I have hear the ligheter weight flywheel lets you reve fater, just like light weight flywheels do. I am more into road racing and autox then drag though.
