I bought this car for my mother 5 years ago. It had under 66,000 miles when purchased from the original owner. Mom loved the car but when she started forgetting things (dimentia) I had to take it away from her. Recent repairs and maintenance were done and I have invested $2200. in maintaining all of the cars working systems. I replaced all the cooling systems in the car. Radiator, water pump, hoses, belts, etc. Transmission flushed with new filter, rear window in top, the top is sound, brakes including new rotors on front and pads all around. Brand new starter was installed and a sensor for the shifting of the transmission. I later found out that the transmission was fine and that the temperature of the engine was the problem. Hench, the replacement of all cooling system components. I've found parts for the interior at local bone yards and outside of not installing the flywheel which I purchased from Nick on this forum, the car mechanically is very sound. Interior needs work. Passenger door panel stiching is poped, carpets need replacing, the bucket seats need to be redone. and a few minor incidental things like the buttons on the rear windows need to be fixed. Everything works as it should. I also installed 4 new speakers (Panasonic) and an AM/FM CD player along with an aftermarket antenna. Front end work was done, it needs aleignment but held off since the tires with about 7,000 mile on them (front only) were cupped and need to be replaced, although there is quite a bit of tread on them they make noise. So now you know where you can find and buy a low milage vert from someone who always loved the car and would like to find a new home for mom's mini-mercedes as she lovingly called it.
