1994 Q, 150K mi, work in progress, mostly stock still, cold air intake, strut bar. Hopefully soon to have a new "Nico better than JWT ECU", Looking for rims and tires. Need to find some lowering springs. Major mod I want is to try a rear mounted turbo system with the help of Squires Turbo Systems (www.ststurbo.com).

I'll turn it into a sig.

I'm assuming that you're referring to my crooked "Q" emblem and not Crimson's "emblemless". The pics are a month or two old. I "shaved" the trunk emblem off 'til I get time to set it properly. She doesn't look bad with a "clean" trunk lid.

Kimrober, I almost forgot to give you props on your Q. Looks like it is in prestine condition. You have done well to say the least! I like the mods, and hope to see more pics after you have put the stagerred wheels on. I have 17" Borbet "E" wheels on with the staggered design (235 in front and 255 in the rear). If your car looks that good with BBS's, then I can't wait to see it with the wheel upgrade. Keep up the excellent work! -EQwhipD

Will look into how hard/expensive turbo will be(and not some crappy rear mounted setup!). If not turbo then will go supercharged. R32 gtr or r33 gtst brake upgrade will come, maybe 4.08 rear end too. Will get to the under plenum hoses soon. Plus more stuff which i can't think of at the moment.

That engine is CLEAN!... gorgeous, wow!So, where would one go to get that type of detailing done? Are detailers common enough that I might find one local in Grand Rapids? Or, might I have to travel to get something like that done? Also, how much would a detailing like that cost? Whole car or just engine compartment?

My detail was done at European Detail Specialists, Inc here in Phoenix. It was the whole car and was around $300. Not sure exactly as my boss paid for it They cleaned every vent louver, nook and cranny, carpets, and the old pie pans probably haven't looked this good since it was new! Only drawback is that now I can see every little chip and blemish in the paint. The shop was full of exotic cars and the wall in their office was covered with photos of all the Ferraris, Lamborghini's, etc. that they've done. These guys were awesome, I think you'd be hard pressed to find as good a shop anywhere.

Nope... no special treatment... direct hook-up it is However, I plan to swap out the USDM housing with JDM dual-layered headlight housing later if I have chance on the parts.. BTW... what happened to this thread? Not enough posts to make it to the sticky list?

I never noticed this thread the first time around, so I guess I'll check in now. Better late than never. Well, I have a 95. My father bought it new a day before his birthday on Dec 16 1994. He hardly drove it and he passed away in 1998. When I took over the Q, it had about 27000 miles on it. My Q is about as stock as can be. The only things that are not stock are the Tokico Blues, Rear Sway Bar, Front Strut Bar and 16in Chrome Rims from a Y33 with 255/50/16 Falken Tires. I also have a NICO sticker on the rear window which we all know it's good for and extra 10-15 hp's. Right now it's riding on the stock turbines with Blizack winter tires. Can't wait til the Spring. The Odo says about 75000 miles on it, but it's more like 84000 because I have the same problem that nuQ has with the odo working. There's my car in the sig. I have to take some better pics one day.
