Where: Oct 2004 New England DragwayCondtions: Cold (~40deg f) and night time. Tires: Kumho Ecsta Supra 712 @ ~30 Psi warmed up in the water box. Time: 14.5 @ 106 Mph 2.5s 60' Mods: Haltech E6k Greddy Profec-B spec II Unorthodox lightened underdrive crank Pulley Lucas 550cc injectors Nismo AFPR Z32 TT fuel pump GT28RS(.86 A/R hot) running 18psi of boost Spearco 26x6x3 intercooler 2.5" exhaust This was my first time ever on a track. I had trouble with the launches. I either bogged badly or just spun the tires threw the first 3 gears. I was getting the hang of the track when my wastgate actuator arm fell off on the launch so i coasted the rest fo the track while i tryed to figure out what happened. Because i didnt have any spare e-clips and the car would have had to cool for a while before i could get behind the manifold the night was over for me. I had an awesome time thought and cant wait to go back this summer with some better tires and with my fully functioning studder box and anti lag.

 second or third run
these were the fastest runs, the others were 13.6828 and 14.4878

Well a ca18det powered s12 can run 9.03 1/8th mile with some minor improvements (14psi, 255lph walbro, stock t25 turbo, open diff, CFDF clutch, 2 10in subs in the back, and on bridgestone potenzas) and still lost to some stripped civic.

Wel, I just swapped a CA18DET for a customer in a 4 door, 1983 Toyota Starlet. Full weight, STOCK engine, Microtech MTX-8 ECU, T3/T4, Tial 38mm W/G, big FMIC, Injectors, twin RX-7 coilpacks @ approx 15lbs :11.46 sec. @ 120 mph. with a slow 1.6+ sec. 60ft. due to big wheelstands.

finally ran my ca18det at the track... first time EVER drag racing, so my 60 ft's kinda sucked.on crappy drift tires dropped to 25psi. I spun all the way through first, and each time I shifted gears. I did however manage to beat the other s13 I went with 3 times in a row, and he's got an SR20 1st run: R/T: .700 60ft: 2.452 1/8: 9.771 @ 77.67mph 1/4: 14.777 @ 98.89mph 2nd run: (best) R/T: .580 60ft: 2.505 1/8: 9.609 @ 79.61mph 1/4: 14.53 @ 100.53mph 3rd run (I hit the rev limiter in 3rd and the car bogged HARD). R/T: .516 60ft: 2.473 1/8: 9.538 @ 79.76mph 1/4: 14.544 @ 98.18mph mods are intake, exhaust, downpipe, fmic, s14 gt28, 10psi. I have an safc as well, but I haven't done any tuning with it. I have a maxima maf and 550cc injectors, once I install I'll turn it up to 14psi and get some good tires and hopefully go deep into the 13's. I think with trap speed just over 100mph, high 13s are within reach right now even. edit for some pics: mine is the s13 in front, the other is my friend's car with an SR20.

Here is my bone stock CA 1/4 mile times. First the car was setup for autocross that night and it was my first time at a track. Now that the excuses are out of the way here are the numbers:R/T .424 60' 2.3 330 6.06 1/8 10.1 1000' 13.2 1/4 15.77 MPH 89.4 This was my fastest run of the night i did however muster a .232 R/T once and a 90.9 MPH on one run also. So i feel confident that the car can do low 15's

It was my first time.Car: 69 datsun 510 4.11 diff ratio subaru lsd gt2510 @ 10-11psi sohc ka maf running as blowthrough Car's been running rich constantly around 10:1 everytime, no matter how much I change the boost. I have a walbro inline 255lph pump and a nismo afpr. Car is too low in the rear so there's a lot of camber. Anyways here is the best time i got. r/t 1.169 60' 2.487 1/4 14.358 @ 99.74 mph Pretty sad considering phyrx got a better time and he has a stock turbo with stock boost. Ha

went to Ten Of The Best on the weekend with SXOC.com for the cars first outing and my first drive in 2yrsheres what happened.. first off a big thanks to SXOC for sponsoring the team.. a big thumbs up to the team itself (did the club proud) on a personal note.. Mike and myself got to ND's first thing Saturday morning to finish her off... by 11.00 hrs she was as ready as she was going to be, fired her up and I got to drive her for the first time in 2 yrs, ND told me to do a few laps of the ind est, bring her on boost just to make sure everything was fine.. Well.... on my second lap I nailed it in second boost came in lit the rear tyres up arse end shot out I fought the car straight... oh and I crapped myself  ND then set it from 1.2 bar to 2.0 bar and sent me back out:eek: all I can say is she is scary fast with a slight traction issue... and thaty was my total amount of practice for TOTB, we hitched the car up and left for Elvington... I had a cracking but tiring 2 days, had a right laugh all day Sunday, very relaxed feeling all day.. as for my times.. while Mr Purple / White and I were chatting on the strip (they had to clean a load of oil up) Mike came over with some of my timming slips, first one 13.38, 12.59, 17.81:wack:(1st to 4th gear change) 12.07, 12.06, feck I thought am what do I have to do to get into the 11's... then he showed me a 11.59 the bastid :D we let out some air (down to 8psi) and did a 11.32 @ 131 mph :D (all with no driver aids not even a rev counter) the top speed.. was a bit hair raising (side wind was blowing the car all over the place :) but I though feck it and just nailed it foot to the floor... managed 186.8 mph (not bad for a mile) I would just like to say thanks to Dave at ND for the 3 days he was on wire duty, ND for all his help  even on the Sunday morning (they had to change some pins in the ecu on Sunday)
and a huge thanks to Mike for all the help over the last 2 yrs to get her ready (would never done it without your help)  team HQ
 accomodation
 calm before the storm
the MLR boys came and joined us for burgers and beer..good bunch of lads  at the start line

fun night at the local 1/8th mile last nite with the ole' hatch, It was about 90 degrees out and the track has ALOT of DHT(?)...sticky stuff..Best time of the nite was 9.499@77.51mph with a 2.2 - 60' Mods: S15-T28, SR Downpipe, 3" Megan Exhaust, SBR MBC (10-11psi), Walbro(sp?) 255, noname FMIC, Blitz ECU-Filter-BOV, Gutted rear interior/carpet, Falken Ziex 245/50/R16 (R) tires, noname lowering springs, stock dampers. My first 4 runs were 9.9-10.0 area due to launch issues(me being a n00b), but the last one I ended up slipping all of 1st gear at about 5k rpms and it just felt way faster. My clutch hates me, and my hood release magicaly stoped working at some point during the nite, but hey i had a blast and will be back soon to work on those 60' times and reaction times. -Shane

Here's my best run for my first time ever at the 1/8 mile drag strip.Mods: 2.5" FMIC Equal length exhaust manifold 3" turbo back exhaust w/ test pipe stock t25 @ 7psi Stage 3 clutch clutch fan 175/15 rear tires @ 30 psi I was getting better with each run, but my night was cut short cause my hot pipe kept blowing off, and the officials black flagged me for the night. My best run was against a fox body v8 mustang with slicks. Reaction .8678 60ft 2.1242 330ft 6.1262 1/8 ET 9.3912 1/8 MPH 75.89 Using a conversion table, my 1/4 ET would have been approx 14.59 http://www.eldemoniorojo.com/calculator.htm With better tires I believe I could possibly get close to 80mph since I was burning tires through 3rd gear.
