No problem at all.

I just dont want folks to miss out on some of our best resources.

Truth be told, we been doing it kinda wrong for so long ,sometimes the Gurus come look in here too.

And not all this site's Gurus are Mods, many are members too.

In any case, I am trying to get folks to help us out a bit, by going to the right forums.

Well shoot. I browse this section every day and only just now noticed this thread. Quite a pitty - the best way to keep a thread from being noticed is to stick it.

ok then, i wonder if anyone can help me with the safc2 tuning?
i have the ka24de and just installed the safc2 and am unsure of how to set it!
first, i do not have access to a dyno and i dont have a wideband o2 sensor. i do have a short ram intake, header, exhaust, along with a port matching and porting job on the head.
with these mods, anyone know what my settings should be?
i understand if u cant answer me specifically but i think i should be able to geta ballpark figure. (guesstimate)

thanks for all your guys help!

My car is a 96 240sx with an auto. CEL is on and the codes are 121 which is shift solenoid /vb and code 123 which is overrun clutch s/v any help on what I should do about this.
The car shifts really hard when its cold and when it warms up it stays in 3rd or 2nd and I think I can shift it manually from 2nd to 3rd or 1st to 2nd when it gets into this way. Not sure what gears they are but only can manually shift it twice and if I put it in drive it stays in 3rd or 2nd. Thanks in advance for any help.

If you replace the headgasket, you should seriously consider getting the cyl. head resurfaced at a machine shop. Not expensive.

i have a 92 240sx. it has a rb25det. it runs great and fast. the onlyblem is that the rpm tach dose not work. also, my speed-o reads way off. i am in the freway doing about 80(according to me) and the car marks 24. what do i need to do to get this working. this car had a singlecam ka motor with the heads-up display. also some one told me i had to change to a twin cam cluster. are those available w/ head-up because i would like to keep this one feature. please let me know what i need to do. thanks for your help.

Most people do not really look at this sticky as it is simply describing this forum.

Post a new thread with your problem and you should get assistance

Automatic seatbelt,
Take off your rear panels behind the seats next to the rear seat and unplug the seatbelt motor.

Head Gasket

A head gasket is a gasket that goes inbetween the head and the block, a gasket is a sealer that seals two pices of metal together, a head is the very top of the motor on a 240sx it is the top of the motor that says Nissan on it, if you look at the side of the motor towards the top you will see a little lip, inbetween there is where the "head gasket" goes.
