First, they cleaned the MAF and reset the computer, and the light stayed off for about 2 months. Then it came back, so I started pricing out MAFs. I was in the US at the time, but the Infiniti dealer wanted $900 to do it, or $700 for the part. I went to a Nissan dealer, and apparently the Maxima MAF is NOT the same, but I bought a Pathfinder one for about $375 and had it installed by a local guy who I trust. At the time, AutoZone had an aftermarket one for $250, but I opted for a Nissan part. I was just at an Infiniti dealer today getting a different code looked after (P0420) and was talking to the technician who I am friendly with about the MAF. He said that now you can get an aftermarket one in the GTA for less than $200. Good luck!
