Sorry for all the questions. How are the bars held in place I placed mine like your photos, and they didn't seem to actually do anything and when I closed the trunk they just fell off again. Thank you again for your help.

Thank you for the pics. Before seeing your pics I was beginning to wonder if I was missing some clips to hold the bars in place, but it would appear as though I just need to snap the ends in place. Thank you again for the pics.

Really Forty some odd people have viewed this thread and nobody has any suggestions I am talking about the two rods that attach to the goose neck hinges of the trunk that assist in making it open easier and help it stay open. If nobody has pics, a direction to a website would be helpful. Anything. Sombody's bound to have some sort of knowledge on this topic.

Just purchased a 98 Sentra and the two bars that assist in making the trunk easier to open are not attached. I've been searching the net, but I can't seem to find any pictures on how they should look when they are installed. Was wondering if anyone here had some pictures they wouldn't mind sharing Thank you in advance for your help. This is my second Nissan. Before this I owned a 94 Altima. I love Nissans and would like to begin fixing the one I have. Again, thank you for your help.
