I see an occasional Z31 going for $2500-3000 out there that are in okay shape, if you want more than that you need to really have it looking good. Most of the ones for sale are thrashed to hell, you'll probably sell it with a for sale sign on it somewhere or Craig's List.

I have a 84' that has been babied since new, rebuilt tranny, mechanically perfect with 162k on the original motor and 2k worth of stereo equipment and I wonder what I would get if I really sold it, I cannot imagine more than 5k. I have a declared value of $7500 for insurance purposes. Doesn't really matter as I would never sell it.
