  <description>we have two 99 Maximas. on both of them, the boot around the joint going to the wheel hub is torn. both wheels on both of them  only one of them looks really bad and is making noise. does that mean that the whole shaft has to be replaced and as for the others, getting new boots would suffice rightalso how difficult is it to replace the parts ourselves we don't have the money to take it to the shop so we would do it ourselves.can these issues be ignored the car that is making the noises is getting replaced in about a year. will it last that longThank you for your help!</description>
