so i'm getting a new used tps and icv, and chipping my na ecu to tt specs with an upgrade to 555's and to allow for 15psi hopefully this will take care of my richness and the bogging and fluctuating idle. if anyone wants to buy that mines tuned ecu off me after i take it out let me know i dont have the time to try and get it to work i'm leaving for school in like a month. i'm also going to install my boost gauge so i can see wtf's going on with my boost cuz i dont feel like i'm getting all 9.5lbs. oh and new front brakes.

Quote, originally posted by spooled240 you are gonna use that autometer boost gauge you showed me right If it's a mechanical gauge then you can just go to pep boys and get the Sunpro boost gauge kit. It's like 10 bucks and it comes with all the necessary fittings (including the compression fittings) and the nylon tube that goes to your engine bay. You'll also need a small rubber adapter and a plastic "tee" fitting for the vacuum lines to hook up your nylon tube. This can all be found at pep boys or your local auto store sunpro kit:hook the gauge up with a lot of slack so you can trouble shoot your engine for now and still mount the gauge later on with a nice wire tuck.OH FASHO hey man there's no pep boys by my crib though, how bout i give you the money and you buy me one when you go to work then help me put it on also i'm going to chip my na ecu up to tt specs and get rid of this mines joint cuz its jut not working right for my car. do you know how to socket an ecu so i can just plug and unplug chips as i upgrade

im sure your running 93 octane correct z32twinz anyways we only have 91 in CA so 15 is tops i would go, you can run 15 with single pop and catback exhaust if you have more then that yippie but still wouldnt boost hihger then 15 bc of our fuel (91) if you get 93 or higher you can do like 18 i beleive since you got 550cc injects, 18 is what i think max you should do on stock turbos and ecu tune matters also, all in all just keep at 15

if you have upgraded your ecu or have nistune you can run boost jets. I just installed mine. All you have to do it go to a welding supply store and buy welding tips. I used tested .035, .040, .045. with .035 i was doing 17-18 psi (detonation). with .040 i was doing 15-16psi (detonation). with .045 i am doin 14-15psi rarely going to 15 (PERFECT). i would recommend .045. if you have upgraded intercoolers you might be able to get away with .040 but every car is different and every car is setup differently. get a boost gauge so you have an accurate reading. when putting them in spay some pb blaster, wd40, something to lube the hole so they go in easier.

to get an accurate read you need two as far as i know, and if you put an bung upstream for one wideband thats still like running off one bc whats calculating the a/f mix on the other 02 considering our exhaust are seperatedboost jets are simplehow to:http://s95014253.onlinehome.us/63104/204583.htmlwhere to buy:http://www.z1motorsports.com/p...=3082or you can go to kragen and get welding tips with .38 orifice or somewhere around that size and stick them in might be cheaper then Z1

as far as I know there isn't anything that is a wideband and a gauge in one. People get a AFC NEO and then use the wideband on the dyno(sticking the sniffer down your pipe) and dyno tune it. The wideband guages are nice cuz you can always monitor your AFR's when you're driving so you have an idea if your engine is gonna blow....if you see AFR's in the 16's on full boost then you know you have to back the f*** up or you're gonna blow something.mike how much boost are you running

what the FACK! i missed your thread dammit hahabut damn that's sick that your swap is done as for the bumper, you should sand it down and use some "bulldog paint adhesive" for plastic surfaces. It makes the paint stick to our urethane bumpers. Just a quickie sand, 2-3 coats of bulldog and some white paint should make it look a ton better for now.again, congrats on the swap..when i get my 14 back within a few weeks to a month I'll go and check it out
