Sounds a lot like what I just posted about. I have an 08 Spec V and it will crank normally, just won't turn over. I stop and try again a few seconds later and it will start. It is quite irritating. It just started happening yesterday. No other issues to that point.

no, no other symptoms. car runs great with no noticeable problems after slow start and all other times. I confirmed all the recalls were dealt with when I bought the car from a nissan dealership in november of 08. have there been any recalls since then that I don't know about I know another person who had an 02 or 03 spec v that had the same issue (don't want to call it a problem bc it's not, more irritating than anything)

Could be fuel pump, could be battery, depends on what you mean by "buck," like was said above. Does it crank but not turn overBy the way, it's SE-R Spec V, no "Type R" involved.

What do you mean by "bucks." Like it cranks slowlyIf so, check your battery's power, make sure the cables are tight, no corrosion on the cables. If there is corrosion, clean it off using baking soda, toothbrush and water. Make sure it's completely dried before re-connecting.If it's none of the above, it could possibly be the starter or some part of it.
