Pull the fan motor, clean the evaporator case and clear the hose with compessed air... you will be amazed at the amout of stuff that can build up in there.Heath Heh I opened mine up and there was pine cones dirt pine straw and what looked to be the skeleton of a bird

Water Under Passenger Dash

So I've been having trouble with getting water (sometimes in torrents) under my passenger-side dash on my 1996 Hardbody. This only happens when the AC is on, and only when it's been on for a while (10 minutes or more). What makes this stranger, though, is that the water usually doesn't come until I turn the steering wheel left/right. Then I hear an ice crackling/metal creaking sound, and the water starts flowing. Even if I turn the truck off and come back later, it's likely to do the same thing when I make a sharp turn. When I had it at the dealership for different work, I had them check the drain -- clear. They were perplexed and told me, for a 13-year-old truck, that I shouldn't worry about it, because finding the problem would be prohibitively expensive. This may be so, but it's becoming a real pain in the hot, humid summer. The carpet is perpetually damp these days. Anyone have any idea what this might be It seems like it must be condensation-related, but I don't get what turning would have to do with it.
