Quote, originally posted by elwaer Dear Armada club membersI have just recently purchased an Armada 2008 model. I currently reside in East Africa in Addis ababa- Ethiopia. even Nissan Dealer doesnt seem to know much about the Armada!!!. Currently I have 2 major concerns:1- is how to be able to add any maps (if ever available) to the factory installed navigation system, specifically for east and north africa region. I am not interested in the in-town detailed maps of streets but rather the main-major roards of large scale.2- How to be able to watch DVD on the from monitor while in motion.Hope his answer helps you out! Welcome to the Armada/QX56 Forum! Glad to have you as a member of NICOclub, especially someone from Africa! Watching DVD's while in motion is a very simple mod to complete, especially on the '08 Armada. Did you find the thread on how to do this Here is the link to the thread:http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread/301458You don't need to worry about using the relay pack, you can complete the mod using a DPDT (Double Pole, Double Throw) switch that costs next to nothing. I personally have completed this mod on my Armada, and it is the best mod ever!

Not sure if there are any options for you. Zenrin.com is the company who makes the NAV DVD's but as far as I can tell from their site, the only African country with any maps listed is South Africa. As for the DVD playback, check this thread:http://forums.nicoclub.com/zer...32222
