Hi there, I just purchased a 91 M30 Convertible, and have the same issue. One of the rear speakers does not work. I have replaced the front speakers, and found that only the left one works correctly. There must be a channel blown in the receiver. Do you know if I can ever find a replacement receiver with CD How did you get the rear panels off to replace the speakers

If I recall correctly, you have to take the rear dash out, and the cover stays on it. I just put new speakers in the wife's car in December, it was not that bad to do, but it was no where near as easy as in the 240SX coupe. Now if you have a 'vert, that's a different story, you'll likely have to take the side panels off in the rear seat area to access the 'vert speakers.
