Same problem happened to a friend of mines when i went to pick the car up for him. Usually a way to find this out is when your in say 3rd before the rpms reach 2000 shift into fourth if your car engine sputters your clutch is good if so i'm uncertain what it could be. I appologize in advance if this doesn't help you.
