for the window problem, I agree w/ CPS, have it re-timed first before replacing the motor.for the backup sensor, if there's no beep sound at all when on reverse w/ an obstruction at the back, you may have a bad backup sensor tiny speaker, located at the dash.

If the "holding of the switch" doesn't work you may either have a faulty relay or the switch itself is damaged.Anyone got a wiring schematic for this fellow Quest owner

Actually, I would have the window re-timed before you go replacing parts. This typically happens if somebody replaces the battery with the window not completely closed or if the vehicle is jumped off with the window not completely closed. On the switch thing, check the manual. You may have to hold the button down for some length of time before it turns off that way you don't accidentally shut it off.

Im not quite sure about the backup sensor, but the problem with the window sounds like a stretched regulator ribbon. Replace the window reg and you shouldnt have a problem after that.

Hello there, Just picked up a 2006 Quest S Special Edition today. We like it alot. One item I am having trouble with is the backup sensor. The button has the off light on and it will not turn off (meaning it is in "off" full time). Anyone have suggestionsAlso, when you roll the driver's side window all the way up it then immediately opens by 1/4. The only way to get it to stay up is to hold the switch in the up position for 5 - 10 seconds after the window is all the way up.
