No one has ever made a Sentra into AWD (there are factory 4WD B12s, but that wouldn't be an option either). It's just too time consuming and expensive. There have been rumors for years, but I've yet to see a running example anywhere.Stock trans can handle 300hp or so no sweat. B15 trans a bit more still (supposedly ~15% stronger). No word on a GTi-R info page, probably fell by the wayside.

A solid write-up on a GTi-R swap won't get lost in the shuffle, I assure you.Not to toot my own horn, but a thread you may be able to use as a template for structure would be my SR20DE+T thread, which you can find in the Table of Contents. It also has a link to a DE+T parts list, which may be a good reference for creating a list of what all is needed for the GTi-R swap itself.Such a write-up would definitely be a good draw in terms of traffic for people with/interested in GTi-R setups, which would encourage additional discussion and grow on itself.

I have turned my idle all the way down, and it idles just under a grand, witch could be off, cuz i am using the stock rpm gage, it just seems wrong to have to turn the idle all the way down, it should be stalling, what am i doing wrongI could do a write up with some pics, but I could use some help with pictures and diagrams as my motor is already in. i would also like it to be a bit of a collaboration, as I am not a mechanic (I do body and paint)one of my main concern is that I will right it all up, and it will just be another old thread.as for the GTIR traffic, some of the other Nissan forums have GTIR traffic, but like me, I had to use all of them just to get the info i needed,, I think we could get most of that traffic over here, nico seems like a good forum, it has the widest spectrum of cars and motors. i will start a writing it (not tonight, its new years, i am getting **** faced), please post any pictures and diagrams that you think i should have on it (I want lots of pictures and diagrams) this swap isn't hard to do (if you have all the information).I know the basics like drill the flywheel, cut the underside, put resistors in, switch the TPS wires, use the stock harness for your car, use the GTIR ecu. but i want to have pictures and instructions for all of them (especially the vacuum setup).sorry for the lengthy post, but i want to give back to the community that help me out, but this isn't a small task so any help would be greatly appreciated.Nissan Power GTIR rules

Once warm it ought to idle around 750-850 like other SR's, I believe. The problem with a GTi-R specific section is traffic. There just haven't been enough NICO members with GTi-R swaps to create such a database and forum, much less to keep one active. That said, a comprehensive thread would be nice, even if it's just a series of links to where you can find the info on various aspects of the swap. Having actually had to find the info, done the swap, and gotten it working, I'd venture to say that you're the most ready to create such a thread. Hint... hint... I'd be happy to help with formatting and getting it into the Table of Contents and/or added to the NICO Tech Articles section.

GTIR Swap Info

I just finished my GTIR swap into my b13. I got the fuel pump in, found my vacuum leak, and fixed the TPS wires. I also found out why my oil light was half way coming on, I Had the oil sending unit wire hooked up to the oil temp sensor. The GTIR doesn't have the same oil pressure switch, it had an oil pressure sensor for the factory gage in the GTIR (witch i replaced with an aftermarket one). what is this motor supposed to idle atmine idles just under 1k, but I had to turn the idle all the way down, is that rightthe ECU isn't throwing any codes, and it idles very smoothly. After all this time and effort, I was thinking there should be a guide or forum or something just for the GTIR swap and GTIR Info, information on all the stuff that needs to be done (with pictures and diagrams), along with suggestions on what should be done. it would be cool to have something to help trouble shoot common problems. If someone is having a problem, we can help him solve it, and then try to ad it to the trouble shooting guide. I think this would save everybody a bunch of trouble and time.the reason I say this is that all the GTIR info is scattered and mixed in with other SR20 info, It took me a couple of days just to find all the info I needed, and even then I don't know how reliable the info was.I want to help my fellow Nissan community help the Nissan community, so any thing I can do do get something like this going, let me know.
